Rules of the College
To maintain academic excellence, discipline, and a healthy learning environment, all students of Dr. Ambedkar PG College are expected to strictly adhere to the following rules and regulations:
1. Discipline and Conduct
- Students must maintain discipline, decorum, and respectful behavior within the college campus.
- Any form of misconduct, indiscipline, or damage to college property will invite strict disciplinary action.
- Respect towards teachers, staff members, and fellow students is mandatory.
2. Attendance
- A minimum attendance as prescribed by the affiliating university and college norms is compulsory.
- Students failing to meet attendance requirements may be barred from examinations or other academic activities.
3. Academic Responsibility
- Students must attend lectures, practicals, tutorials, seminars, and other academic activities regularly.
- Submission of assignments, projects, and practical records must be completed within the stipulated time.
4. Dress Code
- Students should follow the prescribed dress code and maintain decent and dignified attire within the campus.
- Wearing of uniforms (if applicable) on specified days is compulsory.
5. Use of Mobile Phones
- Use of mobile phones inside classrooms, laboratories, library, and examination halls is strictly prohibited.
- Mobile phones, if carried, must be kept on silent mode within the campus.
6. Library Rules
- Silence must be maintained in the library at all times.
- Library books must be returned on or before the due date. Late returns may attract fines.
- Any damage or loss of library materials must be compensated by the student.
7. Examinations
- Students must follow all examination rules issued by the college and university.
- Adoption of unfair means during examinations will result in severe punishment as per university norms.
8. Anti-Ragging Policy
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited as per UGC and Government regulations.
- Students found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary and legal action.
9. Cleanliness and Campus Care
- Students should help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, laboratories, library, and campus premises.
- Spitting, littering, and defacing walls or furniture are strictly prohibited.
10. Safety and Security
- Students must follow safety instructions issued by the college authorities.
- Unauthorized entry into restricted areas is not permitted.
